Visitor Education Center
Our visitor education center is built on the site of the Merrell Soule Canning Company, the producers of the NoneSuch brand. The factory was destroyed by fire but some of the original stone foundation can still be seen behind the education center. Click here to see a reverse image of the education center demonstrating the architectural features taken from the original canning factory and incorporated into the new building.

The Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum is located within the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park in Central New York State. During the 19th & 20th centuries, 96 foot long cargo boats were built and repaired on this site. The museum tells of the construction of these boats, the workings of the restored dry docks and the social history of the canal era.
